Danique

With over a decade in the fitness industry, I’m passionate about empowering people—especially women over 30—to build strength, resilience, and confidence through intentional movement. Strength training is essential for preserving muscle mass, supporting bone health, and boosting overall vitality, and Lagree’s low-impact, high-intensity approach delivers incredible results.

My background in Yoga, Pilates, Barre, and Lagree has given me a deep understanding of alignment, control, and functional strength, and I bring this expertise into every class. I emphasize form, precision, intentional movements to help you push past limitations and feel stronger in both body and mind.

Beyond the Lagree studio, I run Elements Academy, a yoga teacher training business dedicated to helping future Teachers develop their knowledge and skills. I’m also a soon-to-be certified personal trainer, further expanding my ability to help clients train smarter and move better.

I first tried Lagree in 2019, and let's just say, I’ve been hooked ever since—I need my weekly fix! In 2021, I completed my yoga teacher training, and soon after, I dove deeper into my fitness journey with Lagree, and became an instructor - it's been a love affair with ST45 ever since.

Now, my mornings with my Lagree crew are the best part of my week. I might be the chaotic gremlin of the group (in the best way), but I love bringing all the good vibes and energy to class. Expect some wild jokes, the occasional contemporary dance move and a whole lot of hype, because we’re here for a fun, shaky time.

When I’m not teaching Lagree, you’ll find me in the world of tech as a consultant with one of those big 4 firms, working across Asia Pacific. My life may sound pretty corporate, but I balance it with my favourite mental health hobby: paint by numbers. You might even recognize one of my masterpieces in the bathroom at the studio—yep, that’s my exquisite piece of work!

anna

With over 10 years of experience as a reformer Pilates instructor and 5 years teaching Lagree, Anna blends years of fitness expertise with a deep understanding of body mechanics and movement. Before stepping into the world of fitness instruction, Anna spent 11 years competing at the national and international levels in rhythmic gymnastics, where precision, strength, and control became second nature.

In addition to teaching, Anna has a background as a registered nurse and currently works as a medical devices account manager, allowing for a holistic approach to fitness and wellness.

A firm believer in the power of the Lagree method, Anna loves how 45 minutes in the studio allows clients to disconnect from the hustle of daily life and truly focus on their breath and body. ‘The slow burn and full-body challenge of Lagree is unlike anything else. It’s a beautiful way to cultivate your strength while staying grounded in a supportive, welcoming community.’

In class, you’ll find Anna with a playlist that perfectly balances energy and motivation, helping every participant push through the challenge and leave feeling accomplished and proud. Nothing lights Anna up more than witnessing clients reach their goals and embrace their strength.

When not instructing, Anna enjoys quality time with her dog Ralph and spending peaceful moments at the beach, a way to recharge and stay connected to what matters most.

Claudia

Claudia is a yoga teacher with 5 years of experience, now calling Brisbane home (though she grew up on a small hobby farm in Bathurst, NSW). Before diving into health and fitness, she worked in set design, interior design, and the fashion industry.

She first discovered Lagree at ST45 in August 2024 and instantly fell in love—there’s simply no other workout like it. The physical strength she’s built from Lagree has been a game changer, enhancing her yoga and running. But it’s not just about the workout; the ST45 community is amazing, and catching up with the Lagree girlies is always the highlight of her week.

When she’s not teaching or working out, you’ll find Claudia running, hanging out with her two pups (a cavoodle and yorkie poo), camping, or binge-watching reality TV. Soda water is her drink of choice, and catching up with friends and family is always a good time!

carly

Carly has been dedicated to the Lagree method for nearly a decade, practicing at Studio45 Fitness in Newstead. She officially joined the talented team of instructors in April 2024, sharing her passion and knowledge with others.

The Lagree method has been an essential part of Carly’s life, playing a key role in her physical achievements, including completing the 275km Annapurna Circuit, reaching the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, and trekking to Everest Base Camp. But perhaps even more importantly, Lagree supported her during her recovery after an accident in October 2023, proving its effectiveness as both a rehabilitation tool and a powerful workout.

When Carly’s not guiding members through their ‘shake and burn’ moments in the studio, she’s likely out enjoying the great outdoors—whether it’s camping, hiking, or simply spending quality time with her loved ones.

For Carly, Lagree is the perfect combination of high intensity and low impact, making it accessible to people of all fitness levels and abilities. She truly believes that Lagree is for everyone—and is eager to share that belief with her community.

Having experienced chronic pain for years she struggled to find a form of exercise that gave her physical results without causing pain. She started Lagree (or MEGAtorture as her friends call it) at Studio 45 in 2018, and within a couple of classes she knew she’d found her thing. Seven years on, she’s still genuinely excited to attend every class and is always inspired by the incredible determination and strength in the room.

For Ash, Lagree is so much more than exercise, it’s a leveller and a teacher, and in 2020 she became an instructor to share her love of Lagree with the Studio 45 community. She’s a little bit quirky and a lot cheeky. Ash is warm and genuine; from her classes you can expect a strong focus on form, a personal cheerleader, and lots of opportunities to laugh at her expense.

When she’s not in the studio she works in tech and education but has recently welcomed her first child, so she’s traded tech-jargon for baby talk. You might see her walking around the bubble with her Chocolate Labrador, Magnus, and her son strapped to her chest, so make sure you say hello!
